Being able to interact with such a wide variety of people.

It is too difficult to pick just one so I won't.  Here's the top of the list: sable, sturgeon, whitefish and baked salmon salad, one of our smoked salmons, or caviar.

Tell us about a memorable incident

at Russ & Daughters.

Jeremy and Lisa discovered Russ & Daughters after reading about our sandwich, the Super Heeb. They had to try it. They loved Russ & Daughters and the Lower East Side so much that they decided to move into a new apartment one block away. They quickly became regulars. When it was time to propose, I helped Jeremy sneak the ring inside the wrapping of a Super Heeb.

What does the store mean to you? 

Family. Quality. Service. Everything.

What do you like to do in your free time?

Play b-ball, golf, snowboard, movies, eat delicious food, explore unique cocktails, sit around with friends and enjoy a glass of wine.

What are some other favorite spots on the Lower East Side?

Le French Diner, Max Fish, Freeman’s (Yana's the bomb!), The East Village Courts (newly renovated).
