The style. Being here takes me away from the busy and messy modern world.
    
What's your favorite food here?
I really enjoy the kippered salmon. My favorite way to eat it is on an everything bagel, with a little bit of cream cheese and two thick slices of tomato.
    
What do you think Russ & Daughters means to the people who shop here?
I think it's more than just a store or a place to shop. It's a rare and distinct experience. People come in to enjoy the ambiance and the conversation, and also the classic look.
   

When you're not at work behind the dried fruit and candy counter, what do you like to do?
I like karaoke, dancing, and playing guitar. In this neighborhood, I like spending time outside on the benches near the East River.
