After living through an 18-month renovation, Martha Stewart Living's Executive Editorial Director of Decorating, Kevin Sharkey, threw a grand party to celebrate his gorgeous new apartment, where he enjoyed Russ and Daughters' caviar with his guests.
"Clad in tuxedos and cocktail dresses, Kevin's friends gathered to toast his good fortune and admire the place they had been hearing about for nearly two years. Nibbling on his signature party fare - caviar on toast and dirty deviled eggs (made with chopped olives) - guests chatted among the beribboned helium balloons, the only party décor Kevin brought into the space. 'It felt like confetti was continuously floating above us.' he says."
" 'Flattering light, good music, and of course Champagne and caviar make for a great party,' Kevin says. A bunch of balloons doesn't hurt either. Under the floating canopy, guests drink to the end of the renovation. Caviar from Russ and Daughters chills in a sterling-footed bowl. "
